Remember the childhood game of hide and seek? You’re actually still in this, it’s just a battlefield now, not a playground. Same objective: to stay hidden as to not get tagged or be “it.”
The Bible tells us God will hide us from the enemy. The devil is seeking whom he can devour wishing for folk to come out of hiding to tag them in trouble.
Psalm 27:5. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
While we are hiding in God, the devil is seeking us out, but we should continue to seek the Lord (seeking first the kingdom and His righteousness) so we aren’t fixated on needs. Focusing on the need rather than God is an open door for the enemy to tag you. The tag can distort need as a want or want as need that can steal, kill, or destroy. We only come out at the appointed time, like waiting for God to make a crooked path straight.
Queen Esther is a witness to this. God kept her hidden and safe even behind enemy lines until the appointed time. She sought God while being hidden and saved herself and her people. ✝️Book of Esther
Don’t hide from God. Hide in God!
