Our Prayers are Fragrant

Let your prayers fill Heaven with a sweet aroma.

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
✝️Psalm 141:2

Each time that we pray, our prayers go up before God as a sweet smelling aroma that pleases Him.

Why? Every born again believer should have a beautiful-sweet smelling prayer life. More than just the prayer, we pray in faith believing and faith is what pleases God.

Incense has to be kindled and we are kindled by His love for us. Everything we do, every prayer we pray is because He first loved us. The constant devotion to the exclusivity to pray only to Him acknowledging He is Lord of lords and King of kings.

Unpleasant aroma prayers: praying without believing what you pray, praying double minded, praying with selfish motives, praying with unforgiveness in your heart, not praying in Jesus name.

Like incense moves upwards in fashion, our affections to Him in prayer telling Him how great He is, that He’s mighty and strong, to living in a posture of prayer as a living sacrifice because our bodies are His temple flames our exaltation of Him. That worship, love and adoration ignites and kindles our prayers making them fill His nostrils with something that smells fragrant and sweet.

Are your prayers as a sweet incense before God?
