The Sweet Fragrance of Life in Christ

Seek God First and Always

Is seeking God a Sunday thing or only when in trouble?

Asa the king started off his reign seeking God. Whenever the kingdom had trouble, they sought God first with all their heart and souls and were delivered. Then something called a “distraction” occurred.  Asa received this distraction and was never the same again.  Later in Asa’s reign, the kingdom fell apart, he became exceedingly diseased and decided to seek the help of physicians, not the Lord and died. ✝️2 Chronicles 14-17

The lesson here is to seek God first and put your confidence in Him, not people, places or things. Commit your ways to Him.

It’s never the medicine that heals you, it’s always the hand of God. Neither is it the money in the bank, but it’s the blessing of the Lord that sustains you.
